MyKingstonKids at the Kingston Farmers Market The MyKK booth at the Kingston Farmers Market will feature community mural painting, and spin art activities. Children and all ages are welcome. Hodgepodge Collage Come hang out with fellow art and collage enthusiasts and snip and paste your cares away in this FREE community gathering. It’s easy, fun, and relaxing! Event is free, but registration is required, as we have room for up to 8 people to be comfortable. You are welcome to bring your own materials to collage with and share, and we also have basic supplies to be provided: card, paper, glue, scissors, and a bunch of magazines. Eating Smart, Being Active Through hands-on activities and mutual support, participants in this free eight-week course for resource-limited adults with children will learn small steps towards sustainable changes to attain their health, wellness and financial goals. New recipes and ways to incorporate physical fitness into daily routine in every lesson. Participants who graduate from this program receive a Certificate of Completion,  Expanded Food & Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) Cookbook and kitchen tools to support healthy eating. Bike Repair Clinic Is your bike ready to ride? Come to the Y parking lot on Pine Grove Avenue in Kingston to have your bike checked over. You can get bells and bike lights at the clinic.  Helmets and safety materials for kids will also be available through the City of Kingston’s Creating Healthy Schools and Communities (CHSC) program. Art Walk Kingston 2022 Art Walk Kingston is a celebration of the arts and the local community. Over the course of two days, visitors and local residents are invited to explore three distinct areas of the city of Kingston and immerse themselves in a range of art and events. 2nd Annual Hispanic Heritage Festival This FREE family event will highlight and celebrate the unique traditions of the Hispanic culture. Catskill Mountain Railroad Fall Foliage Adventure Take a spectacular journey along the former Ulster and Delaware Railroad corridor and see the natural beauty of the Catskills from Ulster County’s only scenic train. All trains depart from Westbrook Station at Kingston Plaza and travel through the Hurley Flats and return. Fall rides are about 8 miles round trip and last about an hour and 15 minutes.
