MIDTOWN TALKING: HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT DARKNESS?

A philosophical question we’d like to discuss. Midtown Lively hit the streets to hear from neighbors and visitors. We appreciate and value what the Midtown community is saying. Here are some of their opinions:

I don’t like darkness. I am a child of the light, and darkness is devoid of light, which I don’t like.

– Rita Worthington

When there’s darkness there must always be light. I feel calm in darkness, like I could go to sleep.

-Mia Flanagan

I like dark. I like being alone, you know. I enjoy it. It’s peaceful.

–Jesse Ector

There are two types of darkness—physical and spiritual. The unknown, death, things like that. Our journey in life is to find out these things, about how we feel about darkness.
